The Evolution of the "Cardio Park Session"
2017 - 2018
The Beginning of
"Let me take your dog
to the dog park!"
Brittany Schneller began her journey by acquiring dog walking clients while juggling her jobs at restaurants in Old Town Alexandria. With just one or two clients, she turned her passion for dogs and her talent for dog engagement into a thriving business of do park trips. No job was too small for her, as she was determined to grow and share her love for dogs with others. Her dedication and hard work have laid the foundation a successful venture with the idea of taking dogs to the dog park in groups to maximize their exercise and socialization practice.
2019
Growing the Team of
"Pack Leaders"
With the growing clientele, it called for an expansion of her team. She began hiring promising dog walker or "Pack Leader" candidates one by one, ensuring each addition would enhance her service. To support her vision, her longtime best friend from JMU, April, left her 9-to-5 job to help Brittany turn her ideas into a professional reality, while also joining her in the joyful task of picking up dogs for pack play at the park. Together, the team was building a vibrant community for dogs and their owners.
2020 - 2023
Let there be an App!
Brittany decided it was time to invest into a scheduling app to get the business more organized than ever. This investment not only streamlined operations but also allowed her dedicated team to efficiently manage the needs of their furry clients each day. Over this time period, Canine Cardio grew to a team of almost 20 dog walkers (or "Pack Leaders"), and servicing up to 100 dogs a day. The impact on dogs' quality of life has been remarkable, showcasing Brittany's commitment to enhancing the experience for both pets and their owners. Canine Cardio was truly making a difference in lives of dogs everywhere!

Founding of the "Club"
Risking so much that was built with blood, sweat and tears... Brittany decided to partner with a local dog bar company named Snouts and Stouts, to make her dreams of a brick and mortar business a reality. That is when Club Canine Cardio was born! And is now our location for our doggy daycare and boarding operations. The Club is largest and best dog exercise facility in the DMV area, complete with an agility course, fleet of dog treadmills, lure chase course, and indoor dog pool for swim lessons.
